Submission Preparation ChecklistAs part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- E-mail address and affiliation of all authors are included
- Line number and page number has been given
- References are in the correct format of the journal
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
Journal of Innovative Agriculture (JINAGRI) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access online journal, dedicated to explore the original research findings among the scientific communities. It publishes Research Articles, Reviews and Research Notes in all aspects of Agricultural and Allied Sciences. The scope of the journal is multidisciplinary especially of applied nature.
Submission of Manuscript: Authors are requested to submit their manuscripts only through online. Only papers of high scientific quality will be accepted for publication. Acceptance of papers is the sole discretion of the editor based on the recommendations from executive editor, editorial board members and additional reviewers. Manuscripts submitted will be subjected to peer review by two reviewers familiar in the relevant field of research, being from a different country or at least from a different institution from the author. Authors may suggest names and addresses of two experts who in their opinion can review the paper. The choice of referees will however remain with the editorial board. A manuscript number will be mailed to the corresponding author within 24-48 hours. After review process, the Editor will inform about the acceptance, rejection or necessity of revision of the manuscript to the corresponding author.
Plagiarism: Copying and pasting of text from previously published content or internet sources are strictly prohibited. The manuscript which is having copied contents means the submission will be declined by our journal without any further consideration.

Format of Manuscript: All manuscript must be written in English and should be type double-spaced with 2.5 cm margin on all sides with. Manuscript must confirm to the following journal style. Line number and page number should be given in the manuscript.
Title: The title to be typed in capital letters, author names (all capital) and affiliation (capital and small letters with italics fonts). E-mail address of the corresponding author should be provided in italics. The main portion of the paper should be divided in to Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Method, Result, Discussion (or Result and Discussion can be combined together), Acknowledgements (If any), References.
Abstract: The abstract should indicate the main findings of the papers and typed in bold, single space, data oriented reflecting the major findings with a line of conclusion. It should be limited to 200 words and should not be structured. Theoretical/textual material should be avoided.
Key words: 5-6 key words in italics can be given for easy indexing of the article.
Introduction should have basic introduction of the topic, citation of similar important literature, need of the present work with a line of hypothesis of the work. Detailed review of the literature is not necessary. The introduction should preferably conclude with a final paragraph stating concisely and clearly the aim of your investigation.
Materials and Methods should include a brief technical descriptions of the methodology adopted with proper citation while a detailed descriptions is required if the methods are new.
Result and Discussion should contain observation on experiment done illustrated by tables and figures. Use well known statistical test, use of obscure and poor statistical methods might liable for rejection.
Acknowledgments: If any, should be brief and given only for specific guidance or assistance and financial grants etc., not for routine facilities.
Reviews (approximately 1000–1500 words and no more than 2 tables and/or illustrations) and full-length reviews (of no fixed length) perspective covering topics of current interest are welcome and encouraged. Reviews will be processed especially rapidly. A review should be topical, sufficiently critical and comprehensive with regards to citations to the literature. It should draw attention to outstanding problems and take care to accommodate different points of view. The format requirements for original research articles applicable to reviews too.
References: The Journal advocates the citation of new papers; old references are better replaced with updated ones. The authors should take care to provide only the related references. References should be kept to a minimum and listed in alphabetical order. Personal communication and unpublished data should not be included in reference list. The list on reference at the end of the text should be in the following format.
In the text, references should be cited as follows: two authors (Mohali and Bhowmik, 2013), three or more authors (Mullar et al., 2014). References in the text should be listed chronologically separated by semicolon, e.g. (Smith, 1987; John, 1999; Moriss et al., 2000).

Tables and figures: Table should be descriptive without and references to the text with heading in bold letters. Tables, figures, drawings should be placed inside the text as they shall be correctly arranged by the publisher. Figures whether the line drawing or graph should be of good quality. Tables and figures should be numbered consequently in Arabic numerals (Table 1., Table 2. and Fig.1., Fig. 2.).
The photographs should be of good quality (not less than 300 dpi resolution, to occupy text column width of 8 cm they must have at least 1000 pixels width.) and provided in the JPEG/TIFF format. Please send original (not resized) photograph(s), straight from a digital camera, without any text descriptions on the photo.Standard abbreviations and units should be used. SI units are recommended. Abbreviations should be defined at first appearance and their use in the title and abstract should be avoided. Generic name of chemicals should be used. Genus and species name should be typed in italics. Sub-headings should not be in italics.
Upto the December 2018, we are intented to publish the manuscript without any processing fee.
Proofs and Reprints: Page proofs (Pdf) will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author. The corrected proofs should be returned to the Editor within 5 days of receipt. The delay in sending the proofs may shift the paper to the next issue. Correspondence through e-mail will only be entertained. Page proofs are considered to be the final version of the manuscript. With the exception of typographical or minor clerical errors, no changes will be made in the manuscript at the proof stage. In order to minimize the corrections and alterations in the proof stage, authors are requested to prepare the manuscript carefully according to journal format before submitting it for publication. PDF of the published papers will be provided to the author via e-mail. Authors can freely download the PDF file from which they can print unlimited copies of their articles. It is mandatory for the author to mention his/her e-mail ID.

Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has been neither published nor submitted for publication, in whole or in part, either in a serial, professional journal or as a part in a book which is formally published and made available to the public. Without copyright form the manuscript are not considered for the publication. The form should indicate the corresponding author's full address and telephone/fax numbers and should be in an e-mail message sent to the Editor, with the file, whose name should begin with the first author's surname, as an attachment.
